I bought the Dell XT2 first, but sent it back. I couldn’t handle not having the middle scroll button for my trackpoint and an unnecessary touchpad. Feaures on XT2 that I liked: slimer size. I soothe like the bulkier/harsh Lenovo one since I’m rough on laptops. The XT2 had the capacitive screen (X200 has that now). The XT2 battery is less massive than on the X200, but I like using the X200 one as a grip. The XT2 stylus was an odd shape (no “eraser”) and storage slot was awkward to reach.
I have the x200. Alas I bought mine only a few months previous to the “Enhanced” Multi-In tears (Capacitative) screens were out. My Multi-In tears screen is ok. I mainly use the stylus as the screen gets sweet grubby since you have to push down on it. My pad did come with a cleaning cloth, though. I like the full IBM upright and like that there is no touchpad. I do miss the Thinklight and DVD guide, though. (My previous mainframe was a T42, not a dosage).
Really splendid review!
Any luck on testing the x200 with touchscreen options? There are unquestionably zero reviews out there that looks into the multitouch choice.
To prospect listeners, this is my partaking:
The x61 and the x200 are fantastic drug. Near the $2000 USD range for a standard configuration, this is the perfect business dosage; harsh, well-built, and certainly reliable. The HP tx2z has a multitouch N-Trig DuoSense Equipment screen, a capacitive screen, and has an committed and passive digitizer. The HP 2730p is the more affordable and quicker choice, but not as reliable. To regulars, I urge the tx2z. If not, if price is not an issue, the x200.
Bonne nouvelle

@sbunbun – no, different batteries when all’s said and done.
@getwasted – that would be a Dell Liberty XT life the most pricey, not a Lenovo X200.
Rob
thanks for the review gottabemobile!!!!
im just wondering if the x200 uses the ssame 9 cell battery on the x61 series?
Surely with a price tag of USD 2323, I am NOT inane to buy the most pricey dosage on this planet.
